Before and after with Daisy Jane.

Daisy Jane has been through thick and thin. She has come a long way since we first bought her. The transformation has been a huge effort on so many levels and I can't wait to show you what has come of it.

I'm sure y'all have read about about my cute, little photography intern, Cassidy Joy Reynolds. If not, she is a Junior at one of the local high schools and is studying to be a photographer.  She's always behind the scenes so,  I thought I would let her tell this part of the story about Daisy Jane since it's at her talented hand that makes this project look so great !!!!!!  Couldn't do it without you Cassidy!

All of the surfaces were re-painted and all of the curtains were re-done.  The roman shades were made for function with magnets instead of string.  See how by clicking here for step by step instructions.  

The Cuff Top Panel Sewing Pattern was used to make the privacy panels in the bedding areas.
The Roman Shades are made with magnets for easy raising and lowering.
We embellished the inexpensive duvet and pillows with a solid melon bias banding.

coffee maker to go along.

The bench was covered in a teal ultra suede for durability and piped in celadon green.
The benches were covered in a funky cotton print and this roman shade is workable, too!






When I, Cassidy Reynolds, was asked to take pictures of the camper,  I was so excited to show everyone how much it has changed and how well Caterina did with the decorating. When I saw the before pictures I was shocked by all the renovations that have happened over the corse of a little over a year.   It is fully styled and ready for big summer adventures, and sleepovers with a bunch of sixth grade girls.  Abby, Caterina's granddaughter, has decided to have her birthday party in it this year and it sounds as though they are going to have a blast.  Who wouldn't want a party in this adorable space?   I know I would!

Daisy Jane has a character about her that brings families closer and brings the definition of glamping to life. I can't wait to see all the adventures this beauty will have in the comping years.

Y'all know I'm all about pondering on ways to improve things ..... making my life easier or more comfortable..... We all get inspiration from from each other on Pinterest and Instagram. Easy Dining Chair Slipcovers For Every Season

It's almost Easter!!! and I'm ready OutOnThaPorch now but I went down a "Rabbit" Trail to get here (Ha Ha - Rabbit Trail - get it ???)    When we finished the deck last October,  the nasty, off white cushions needed recovering and I didn't really know what I wanted to do.   YUK !!!!!! I didn't want a lot of color but we use these A-LOT so it needed to be something I could clean easily. So while relaxing OutOnThePorch one day I kept going back........ Here's to our health at Pate-Meadows

To keep everyone healthy at Pate-Meadows, we have a fitness trainer come to our loft twice a week and offer an hour-long group workout for our employees. In addition we have two elliptical machines and a Nautilis Smith Weight Machine for our employees to use. Our trainer, Ron McNeely, has been coming for over a year now and we don't know what we would do without him. Caterina makes her usual fashion statement!
